Feed Me Mate is an all-in-one food app: local food deals, venues and events, recipes, a pantry, a meal planner and a food diary. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, why, who processes it for us, and how you can delete it. We don't sell your data and we don't run ads.
Your account. Email address, username, and — if you provide them — your full name, country, city/suburb, phone number and a profile photo. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email and profile picture from that provider; we never see your password for those services.
Your food preferences. Dietary tags you tick (e.g. vegetarian, seafood), your favourite dishes, and the deals, venues, events and recipes you save with a ♥.
Your kitchen & diary. Pantry items, meal plans, shopping lists, food-diary entries, and — only if you set nutrition goals — the details you enter for them (such as height, weight, date of birth and activity level, used solely to calculate your targets).
Your activity in the app. Recent searches (to show your own "Recent" list), recipes you import from YouTube links or generate with AI (kept private to your account), and your approximate location only while you use the app and only if you allow it — to sort deals by distance. We never track location in the background.

These providers act on our instructions to run the features above. We share nothing with anyone else, and we never sell or rent your information.
Your data stays in your account until you delete it. Individual items (pantry entries, diary logs, saved favourites, imported recipes) can be removed in the app at any time. Deleting your account removes everything, permanently.
You can do this yourself, in the app, in under a minute: Profile → Personal information → Delete account. This permanently erases your profile and every record tied to it — favourites, preferences, pantry, plans, diary and imports. It cannot be undone. Australian privacy law (and similar laws elsewhere) gives you the right to access, correct or delete your personal information. Everything we hold about you is visible and editable in the app; for anything else, email us.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and the date above. During early access the product evolves quickly, so check back occasionally.
